Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew growing up in Mexico in a family who loved music. Her early years were shaped by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the more traditional romantic, ranchero, and romance ballads. Ana has a passion for Tangos, opera, and all forms of dramatic performance. When she was 16 years old, she began to sing and study music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began to give her more intense singing instruction. In Guadalajara she studied at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca in Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was a member of many opera ensembles as well as chamber groups. Following her move from Mexico to America in 2000, she performed for the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and often performs as a soloist of traditional Latin American music at private performances. Alongside being a local performer and instructor and instructor, her passion for art and music has her engaged in a wide range of different projects. Ana was a former participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands (as as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Choir for their permission to play the traditional Latin American song.
