Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson - born Jacqueline Luesby to Chris Watson and Jacqueline Luesby, two British lawyers - was born on the 8th of July, 1989 in Paris. When she was just five and moved to Oxfordshire and attended her first Dragon School. Emma's dream was to become an actor. When she was 6she was enrolled into the Oxford Stagecoach Theatre Arts branch, where she took classes for acting, singing and dance. In a school play and the stage of a Stagecoach production, Emma took as the lead role at age 10, and acted. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) was the movie version from J.K. Rowlings bestselling novel was cast for very first time back in the year 1999. Emma was discovered through Emma's Oxford Theatre instructor. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint following auditions for 8 times. They were cast as the three lead characters Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. Emma's debut film appearance came in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in 2001. It was the highest-grossing film of 2001 it set new records in its first day opening and the opening weekend's earnings. It was highly acclaimed by reviewers, and so were the performances of its three new stars. The Daily Telegraph praised Emma for her performance. Emma won the Young Artist Award as the most outstanding young actor in the feature Film. Emma was nominated five times for her part in the film.
