MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin popular music scene has been affected through his worldwide popularity. In the year 2017 his hit track from 2016, Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. He released ADN which was his debut long-player to La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album peaked at the rank of eight in the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was A Top Five hit for Ozuna and him the year after. In 2020, he collaborated with Noriel on Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina within the year following. Then in 2021, he sang the duet for TINI's streaming smash track Maldita Foto. 2000 also saw the huge hit La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo's parents and brothers were musicians when they were born. According to him, musicality was an integral element of his existence. When he was young, he taught to perform on the piano, saxophone as well as guitar. The first choice for his career was to be a veterinarian, but his brother Julian encouraged him to learn to sing with an instructor from a Cuban teacher. What he got was finding out that he was blessed with talents for singing, changed the direction of his life.
